Mose Masoe Foundation’s first fundraiser

The Mose Masoe Foundation, a newly founded charity, set up a series of 4 campaigns aimed at raising awareness and funds, generating over £30,000 for rugby players with spinal injuries.

The Challenge

First fundraiser ever

The Mose Masoe had to tackle their first ever fundraiser. The fundraiser would aim to raise awareness and support for rugby players suffering from spinal injuries, both physically and mentally, in the UK and overseas, as well as generate initial funding.

With a small supporter base and little funding, this proved to be tricky.

The Solution

4 Text Giving campaigns

After reaching out to local charities who recommended Donr, they began creating a series of four campaigns, each with different donation suggestions.

They held the campaign over round two of the Super League rugby matches, using the opportunity to raise awareness and support, and to raise much needed funds.

“We wouldn’t have been able to reach this level of donation without Text Giving. People can intend to donate online, but it gets pushed to the back of their mind.”
