Founded in 2017, Michael Carrick Foundation seeks to provide opportunities for youngsters to thrive in Greater Manchester and the North East.
To celebrate the Foundation’s fifth anniversary, a fundraising dinner was held to share achievements to date and raise funds to continue empowering disadvantaged young people.
The Solution
Text Giving as a call-to-action
The dinner featured a game of ‘what happens next’ with attendees asked to text GAME to 70560 to make an optional donation if they were joining in.
A second Text Giving call-to-action was also displayed at the venue, giving supporters another opportunity to donate.

5th Anniversary
The dinner celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Foundation.
Over £2,000 raised
Over £2,000 was raised via Text Giving over the course of the evening.
£1,800 from the game
The majority of the total raised came from players entering the game.
