Alder Hey Children’s Charity Tractor Run
During Christmas 2021, the Liverpool Tractor Run visited Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and raised over £52,000.

For the second year running, Merseyside has been home to the Christmas Convoy, where for three hours, local farmers drive their tractors through the street of the North West decked out with tinsel and lights, bringing Christmas cheer and fun to all, including at stop off at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
The Solution
Text Giving shortcode
To encourage donations from those attending the event, a Text Giving campaign was set up, where supporters could text TRACTOR to their shortcode to donate a set amount of £5.
This allowed those in attendance to donate quickly and easily while still at the event.
