The Challenge

Virtual Fatigue During Lockdown

Covid-19 has changed the way people fundraise, but a year into the pandemic, COCO felt there was some virtual fatigue, with online events being two dimensional and with only one day.

They wanted to put on an online fundraiser where ‘adventurers’ would share their experiences, an ‘Armchair Festival’, but weren’t confident it would raise money.

COCO utilised a Text Raffle, enticing supporters with a luxury overnight stay in Northumberland. Supporters could enter the raffle by texting a key word, and either choose to donate or to enter for free.
