Founded by Temi and Abbey in 2014, Hope Spring was set up to help people in developing communities in Nigeria and other parts of Africa whose inhabitants live on less than $1.20 a day – the World Bank’s definition of extreme poverty.
As well as building wells and boreholes, the charity delivers hygiene workshops in schools and local communities to help save lives.
Through giving the gift of water, Hope Spring understand that the gifts of education, empowerment, and the chance to break the cycle of poverty are offered, too.
Hope Spring are Registered in England & Wales (Charity No. 1165468).Close
Here at donr, we work closely with our charity partners to create exciting, informative pages to raise the funds they need to change lives.
Just like other leading platforms, we take a small fee of 5% (plus card processing fees) per donation made. However, at donr, this fee gets charities so much more than a static page; our extensive service instead offers a skilled team who research, write, design, develop and even provide digital marketing assistance to launch the page.
We also allow supporters to donate up to £20 via mobile billing, which carries no processing fees.
If you know a charity with a story to tell, please visit donr's website for more information.Close
In some areas of Western Africa, women and children are spending up to 6 hours every day collecting water from the closest source.
Our hygiene workshops are also helping to prevent disease and death in developing communities in Nigeria and other areas of West Africa.
Can you support our work by becoming a monthly giver and providing the life-changing gift of fresh water to communities across West Africa?
